Using iDRAC 9 as an example, locate iDRAC Settings -> Settings -> iDRAC Service Module Settings, as shown below:

Download the iSM installer and select " ISM-Dell-Web-4.1.0.0-VIB-ESX7i-Live.zip " as shown below:
Unzip the downloaded zip file and locate the " DEL_bootbank_dcism_4.1.0.0.2410-DEL.700.0.0.15843807.vib " file as shown below:
Upload the vib file to esxi storage as shown below:

In the ESXI management interface, click Manage -> Packages -> Install Updates, as shown below:
After installing the update, you can see the dcism module as shown below:
Switch to the iDRAC management interface, find iDRAC Settings -> Connectivity -> OS to iDRAC Direct -> Test Network Connection in order, as shown below:
Find the iDRAC Service Module settings again as shown below:
You can see that the connection status on the host OS is already running.
Re-open the iDRAC home dashboard, in the system information you can see that you can get the host name, operating system, operating system version normally, as shown below:
